About Rental Triangle

Rental Triangle explains rental housing from three sides at once: the renter's, the landlord's, and the property manager's, because most disputes happen at the point where those three views don't line up.

Why "triangle"

Every rental sits inside a triangle of interests. The renter wants a safe home at a fair price. The owner wants reliable income and a property that's cared for. The manager, when there is one, has to keep both sides communicating without either feeling ignored.

Most of what goes wrong in a rental, a disputed fee, a delayed repair, a shorted deposit, happens because one corner of that triangle didn't get clear information. We write to close that gap.

What we cover

Finding a rental, applications, tenant screening, lease agreements, rent and fees, and security deposits. Six topics, one throughline: clear documentation and reasonable expectations protect everyone in the transaction, not just one party.

We write for first-time renters, students, families relocating to a new city, independent landlords managing their first property, and small property management teams standardizing their process.
